I wish it reaches the 2nd subdivision of the first district in Lahore, Pakistan. The letter is being written by the lover in India and he wishes that it reaches to Lahore in Pakistan.
I wish it reaches the 4th house in the Resham Lane in 2nd town. These lines are simple, and someone might pass it thinking this is merely an address. However, if I look at the broad meaning, I feel that the poet is aware of the house, and he used to live in Pakistan before the partition.
That country is now called some other country, or it seems like it is completely unknown. May this letter reach that other country called Pakistan. I am writing this letter from Hindustan (India), and I wish it reaches to Husna. O! Husna.
I think the poet or the character in Piyush Mishra’s song, lived in Pakistan before India and Pakistan’s partition. He is well aware of the house and address. He had spent times with his beloved and after partition, when he is in India, he misses her a lot. So, he wants to write a letter.
